Having a keen interest in the mind and the brain, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Trent University. During the 3rd year of my undergraduate degree, I discovered the field of speech-language pathology while taking a psychology of language course. Immediately, I knew this was the profession for me! After finishing my undergraduate degree, I completed my Communicative Disorders Assistant Graduate Certificate at Durham College in 2018. From there, I went on to complete my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at McMaster University in 2021.

I love working together with clients and their families to find motivating and functional ways to help them reach their communication goals. I have had the privilege of working with clients in the areas of cognitive-communication, articulation, language, literacy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I am very passionate about AAC and enjoy working with clients and their families to implement communication tools that can improve functional communication.
