When I first discovered the world of Speech-Language Pathology as a young adult, I knew that I had discovered the right career path for me. With its focus on language, science and helping others, it has been the perfect blending of my passions.

After obtaining my B.A. in Linguistics and Psychology from McMaster University I spent some time training and working in various roles with children and young adults with complex needs. I returned to school to complete my Master of Science degree at Ithaca College, in Ithaca, New York. I have been fortunate to be able to work in many different environments that focus on my passion for the area of neurological rehabilitation. I am patient and experienced at managing challenging behaviours.

I feel strongly about providing a client and family-centred approach, and use of functional and motivating therapy. I believe in collaboration across professions in order to give clients the best care possible.
