No, but most extended health benefits plans include coverage for SLP services. It’s important to know, though, that we do not bill your EHB provider directly.

SpeechWorks offers a combination of in-person and virtual services to meet your needs. Virtual sessions are not appropriate in all cases, but the SLP can help you decide if virtual sessions will work for you.

Yes, we are open in the evenings and sometimes on the weekends depending on clinician availability and client demand.

At times, SpeechWorks has a waitlist for highly desirable time slots (e.g. after school hours). The more flexibility you have in when you could come in to attend appointments (e.g. able to come within daytime hours), the less likely you would need to wait to get an appointment.

Yes! We provide services in home or at other community locations. There is a fee for travel and mileage as this time would otherwise be used for in-clinic sessions. We are very mindful of sharing travel costs wherever possible – so if there is more than one client in your area, we try to schedule both clients on the same day to share the travel costs.
