As a full-time mother of 2 beautiful daughters, one of whom is developmentally delayed, my career unfolded according to my family’s needs.  Prior to starting my family, I enjoyed working as a pharmacy technician where I learned a great deal about health care from a pharmaceutical perspective.  The administrative and logistical functions of this kind of health care gave me a unique perspective into community care and broadened my technical knowledge base.  As with any job I’ve held, the contact with clients was always the most enjoyable aspect.   As my daughter’s need for Speech-Language Pathology became apparent in her toddler years, I was fortunate enough to find S.L. Hunter SpeechWorks where both she and I have made roots.  Over time, I transitioned from client to employee - from occasional administrative support to now, a permanent member of the dynamic administrative team where I am able to balance the always interesting side of on-going technical demands, with the front-line community contact which remains so very important to me.  I am indeed, very grateful to be a part of such a dedicated and passionate team of professionals.
