I love helping people find their voice! I hold a Bachelor of Arts in piano performance from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and it is through this work that I developed an interest in the human voice and all it can do. Before finding my calling in speech-language pathology, I worked with singers from age 5-95, including a choir for individuals with aphasia. In 2020 I completed a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at McMaster University, and I am thrilled to be able to collaborate with clients across the life span to support communication. I also support individuals who are having difficulty with swallowing during eating or drinking, also known as dysphagia. When I am not at Speechworks, I am also a dysphagia Research Coordinator through McMaster University’s Aging Swallow Research Lab. I adore getting to know people of all ages and working together to find effective, functional, and engaging ways to help you or your family member be the best version of themselves.
